Today MilDef is proud to announce that our ruggedized notebook family Rocky Rx9 has been certified under the standard IP65.
All three fully rugged notebooks (Rocky RT9 13″, Rocky RK9 15″ and Rocky RF9 17″) passed the tests and have been approved to wear the IP65 certification.
But that is not all, the devices maintain this protection rating even with opened I/O ports!
Compared with the smaller and more common IP54 standard, the IP65 standard requires even more protection against dust and water. Therefore, notebooks of the Rocky series are dustproof and can be operated even after exposure to water jets.
