MilDef has been aware of the recently discovered security vulnerabilities known as Meltdown and Spectre. These industry-wide vulnerabilities impact many modern processors, and allow malicious code to force a processor into allowing access to protected data in the system memory (RAM). We can now offer a new BIOS with the Meltdown and Spectre security vulnerability fixed for each of our 10-series and 11-series models.
To request the updated BIOS together with update information for your units, contact your local service office (listed below) with the subject Meltdown & Spectre BIOS Request.
Include the units Serial No. in the mail to ensure that you get the correct BIOS for your units.
