MilDef KSW Family rugged KVM switches support tactical systems that need reliable operator control and display signal management. The family includes compact 19”/2® switching solutions for DVI, USB and tactical display integration in demanding defense environments.

MilDef KSW1100 Series rugged KVM switch for DVI and USB control

Rugged KVM switches for tactical systems

The KSW Family supports military and defense platforms where operators need to control multiple computers or distribute video signals between displays. As a result, the family covers both KVM switching and DVI signal distribution in rugged, compact formats. This helps customers integrate operator stations, mission computers and display systems into vehicles, shelters, racks and deployed platforms.

KSW1100 Series provides rugged KVM switching for systems that need shared DVI and USB control from one operator position. In contrast, KSW2100 Series provides DVI signal distribution from one input to four outputs. Together, the two series help customers manage control and display signals in tactical IT environments where space, reliability and integration flexibility matter.

In addition, the KSW Family supports MilDef’s 19”/2® integration concept. The products use compact form factors, passive cooling and ruggedized designs for demanding platform use. Therefore, customers can add switching and video distribution functions without moving to larger rack-based equipment or less rugged commercial alternatives.

Single-interface mission control

Access and control multiple mission systems through a single display and peripheral interface, reducing operator hardware and simplifying workflows.

Space and power efficiency

Compact system design and low power consumption support integration in space-constrained and power-limited tactical platforms.

Flexible platform integration

Customizable configurations, multiple form factors and remote operation options support integration across a wide range of platform architectures.

Explore the KSW switching family

The KSW Family includes switching series for different control and video distribution needs. KSW1100 Series supports rugged KVM switching for DVI and USB control across multiple computer sources. KSW2100 Series supports rugged DVI splitting for tactical display distribution where one video source needs to feed multiple outputs.
