What began as a small product- and engineering company in Sweden has grown into a strong and influential force within our niche, helping drive the industry forward. Through close, long-term collaboration with customers, partners and suppliers, we have built deep expertise across platforms, environments and operational requirements.
1997
The company was founded by Tomas Odelid and Marianne Trolle, under the name Login.
2007
Launch of our own production concept named 19”/2
2011
Name changed from Login to MilDef. Through acquisition of Terralogic Ltd, MilDef was established in the UK.
2016
The acquisition of AMREL established MilDef’s presence in the US.
2020
System integration was included as one of our main offerings.
2021
MilDef Group AB was listed on the Stockholm stock exchange. The acquisition of Sysint in Norway expanded our offering to include software and services.
2025
MilDef made its largest acquisition, roda computer GmbH, thereby strengthening the company’s position in the European defense market.
MilDef acquires Westek Technology in the UK, further enhancing its capabilities in rugged IT solutions in the UK.
2026
MilDef opens Bastionen in Rosersberg, Stockholm, which quadruples our production capacity.
