MilDef rugged keyboards support users who need dependable input devices in demanding defense environments. The family includes solutions for vehicle and console use, compact field systems and cradle-based applications. In addition, selected models include integrated trackball, stick pointer or track pointer control, which helps reduce the need for separate pointing devices.

The KBD Family supports different levels of ruggedization, from slim compact USB keyboards to IP66 backlit keyboard solutions. As a result, customers can match keyboard format, pointing functionality and integration needs to the right operational role. The range also supports military, naval, aviation, outdoor and low-light environments where reliable user input matters.

The KBD Family includes rugged keyboard series for different field and platform needs. For example, KBD1100 Series supports vehicle and console use with integrated trackball control. Meanwhile, KBD200 Series provides a slim USB keyboard for compact field and cradle-based systems. In addition, RBK10 Series adds a compact backlit keyboard with integrated pointer control and optional smart card reader.

    KBD1100 Series

    Ultra Rugged Backlit Keyboard with integrated trackball

    The KBD1100 Series provides rugged keyboard and pointing-device control for tactical military environments. Built from milled aluminium, the series combines an 83-key backlit keyboard, integrated trackball and USB HID functionality in a compact operator interface. Selected configurations support dual USB inputs and source switching, allowing operators to switch between two computer systems from the keyboard and reduce the need for additional input devices in space-constrained platforms.

    KBD200 Series

    Slim rugged USB keyboard for compact field and cradle-based use

    The KBD200 Series provides a lightweight rugged USB keyboard for compact MilDef systems and cradle-based applications. Designed for use with the DB cradle and other MilDef products with USB connectivity, it combines 66 backlit elastomer keys, a built-in stick pointer, left/right click functionality and a slim magnesium frame. The keyboard supports military, naval, aviation, outdoor and low-light environments where compact input control is needed.

    RBK10 Series

    Compact rugged backlit keyboard with integrated pointer control

    The RBK10 Series provides compact rugged keyboard control for harsh field and platform environments. Built with an aluminium housing, sealed silicon rubber keypad, backlit keys and an integrated track pointer with mouse buttons, it supports reliable input where space, durability and low-light usability matter. The keyboard connects via USB and offers optional smart card reader support for applications that require secure user access.
