Rugged power distribution units for compact 19”/2® systems, tactical platforms and deployed defense power architectures.

MilDef PWR2100 Series compact power distribution unit with integrated UPS

Rugged power distribution units for tactical systems

MilDef’s PWR Family includes compact rugged power distribution units for tactical systems that need controlled power delivery in limited space. The family supports 19”/2® system architectures where computing, networking and connected equipment require reliable DC power distribution.

Power requirements can vary across vehicles, shelters, mobile command systems and deployed infrastructure. Therefore, the PWR Family includes AC input, DC input, AC/DC conversion and UPS-capable variants. In addition, several series support remote monitoring, protected outputs and passive cooling for demanding defense environments.

For system integrators, the PWR Family helps simplify power architecture inside compact rugged systems. As a result, MilDef can support both new platform builds and upgrades where power distribution, SWaP constraints and lifecycle reliability matter.

Compact 19”/2® power architecture

The PWR Family uses MilDef’s compact 19”/2® form factor to support space-constrained tactical systems. This helps integrators distribute power inside rugged computing and network stacks without moving to larger rack formats.

AC, DC and UPS-capable variants

Different PWR series support different power architectures, including AC input, DC input, AC/DC conversion and integrated UPS functionality. Therefore, the family can match several deployed system requirements from the same product area.

Protected power delivery

Protected outputs, circuit protection, monitoring options and rugged mechanical design help support reliable power delivery in demanding environments. In addition, passive cooling reduces reliance on moving parts.

Explore the PWR Family

The PWR Family includes multiple power distribution unit series for different input, output and backup-power requirements. PWR1100 and PWR2100 combine power distribution with integrated UPS functionality. PWR300 focuses on compact DC power distribution, while PWR3100 adds AC/DC conversion for systems connected to AC input. Meanwhile, PWR4100 supports DC input, multiple DC outputs and individual fuse protection for tactical power distribution.
