Rugged KVM consoles for rack-mounted defense systems

MilDef rugged KVM consoles support defense systems where operators need reliable local access to multiple computers in limited rack space. The CDS Family provides a retractable terminal that can be pulled out when needed and stowed away when not in use. As a result, customers can add display, keyboard, touchpad and KVM control without using separate operator devices.

The cDS1100 Series supports control of up to four connected computers through a built-in KVM switch and is available with both VGA- and HDMI-based video interfaces. This allows customers to match the console to existing system architectures, legacy equipment and newer digital video requirements.

MilDef builds CDS Family products for harsh military environments and long lifecycle programs. The rugged 19” rack-mounted design, 12–36 VDC input, passive cooling and MIL-STD-tested construction support demanding platform integration. Therefore, the family is suitable for vehicles, shelters, racks and deployed systems where reliable operator access and rugged platform integration are critical.

    The cDS1100 Series provides a rugged 19″ KVM console for defense systems where reliable operator access is required in limited rack space. The retractable 1U design combines a 15″ display, keyboard, touchpad and built-in KVM switch in a compact rack-mounted terminal. Supporting control of up to four connected computers, the series is designed for demanding military environments and long lifecycle programs. Available variants support different video interfaces, including VGA and HDMI configurations.
