roda computer and Westek Technology become MilDef

Moving forward together

As part of MilDef’s continued integration of roda computer GmbH and Westek Technology Ltd., both companies will formally adopt the MilDef name.

Effective September 23, 2026, roda computer GmbH will become MilDef GmbH, and Westek Technology Ltd. will become MilDef UK Limited.

This marks the next step in the successful integration of the two companies following MilDef’s acquisition of roda in 2025. By aligning under one brand, we strengthen our position as a leading provider of tactical IT and digitalization solutions for defence and security customers across Europe.

What does this mean for customers, suppliers and partners?

While the company names will change, day-to-day business will remain unchanged.

• The organization and local teams remain the same.
• Existing customer and supplier contacts remain the same.
• Ordering processes remain unchanged.
• Ongoing projects and agreements continue as before.
• Customers and suppliers will continue working with the same trusted teams they know today.
• The product portfolio remains the same, however customers are now supported with a broader portfolio and enhanced capabilities

The only administrative change is that invoice details will be updated to reflect the new company names. VAT registration numbers will remain unchanged.

One company, one brand

The name change reflects MilDef’s long-term strategy of fully integrating roda and Westek into the MilDef Group. Bringing our businesses together under one brand creates a stronger and more unified platform for serving customers while maintaining the expertise, products and relationships that have made roda and Westek trusted partners for many years.
