Increased capacity to meet growing demand

MilDef continues to invest in its operations through an expansion of its production and office facilities in Rosersberg, north of Stockholm. The 6,500-square-meter facility, which opened in 2025, is now expanding by an additional 7,600 square meters. This investment is part of the company’s long-term development strategy and addresses growing demand from the defense sector.

The existing facility in Rosersberg currently serves as the hub for MilDef’s Swedish integration operations. The decision to expand further is driven by increased defense spending in Sweden and NATO, as well as a growing need to handle more missions and long-term commitments.

The expansion is a result of growing customer demand in the Nordic region. Expanding capacity in Rosersberg will lay the groundwork for growth, increased delivery capacity, and long-term customer commitments

The framework agreement signed in the summer of 2026 with the Swedish Defense Materiel Administration for NATO-interoperable command and control support systems is an example of a trend in which deliveries and expanded commitments place greater demands on capacity and execution capabilities.

For us, this is about creating the flexibility to act in the future. It gives us the opportunity to handle more projects simultaneously, develop new capabilities, and ensure that we can continue to grow in line with our customers’ needs without disrupting our ongoing operations

The expansion covers approximately 7,600 square meters, of which about 4,500 square meters is production space, and is scheduled to be operational in the first quarter of 2028. Following the expansion, the total business premises will amount to just over 14,100 square meters. The new building is located on the same lot and is being constructed in collaboration with the property owner, LEJE Fastigheter.
