RM2100 router is based on the Cisco ESR6300 router, running the Cisco IOS-XE software. The is also an option to add the Cisco ESS3300 switch into the unit to the additional switching capabilites and higher port density. The result is an extremely capable network platform, offering high performance levels and a wide range of routing and switching capabilities, that can be fitted into 1U Half Rack unit.
