MilDef MC700 Series rugged Ethernet media converter for copper-to-fiber network conversion

Rugged media converters for tactical network integration

MilDef rugged media converters help customers connect Ethernet copper and fiber links in demanding defense environments. The MC Family supports vehicles, shelters, racks and deployed systems where network signals need to move between different interface types. In addition, the compact format helps customers add media conversion without using larger commercial network equipment.

The family supports tactical network architectures that need flexible connectivity between computers, switches, routers, displays and mission systems. As a result, customers can extend network reach, adapt interface types and support fiber-based communication in rugged platforms. This makes the MC Family useful where copper-to-fiber conversion plays a practical role in system integration.

In addition, MilDef designs MC Family products for rugged use and long-term military programs. The range supports compact installation, passive cooling and military-relevant ruggedization. Therefore, customers can integrate media conversion into tactical IT systems where reliability, space and lifecycle support matter.
