Rugged operator displays
Rugged operator displays for protected vehicles, tactical cabins and platform-integrated defense systems.

MilDef’s RD Family includes rugged operator displays for protected vehicles, tactical cabins and platform-integrated defense systems. The family supports applications where operators need reliable visual access, physical controls and touch interaction in demanding field environments.
In vehicle installations, display hardware often needs to fit into decentralized system architectures. Therefore, RD displays support use cases where computers and displays are installed separately due to space, ergonomics or platform constraints. This makes the family relevant for protected and armored vehicles, cabins, mobile command environments and other deployed operator positions.
For system integrators, the RD Family combines rugged display hardware with features that support tactical operation. Resistive touch input, programmable function keys, camouflage mode, NVIS support and Picture-in-Picture options help operators manage visual information in mission workflows. In addition, metal housings, IP-rated protection and MIL-standard environmental performance support reliable operation in harsh platform environments.
RD displays support tactical workflows through physical controls, touch input and display functions such as camouflage mode, blackout functionality, NVIS support and optional Picture-in-Picture. As a result, operators can manage visual information in demanding mission environments.
Protected vehicles and cabins often need display hardware that supports separate placement of computers and operator screens. RD products help integrators build these architectures with rugged displays designed for platform use.
Metal housings, IP-rated protection, MIL connectors and defense-relevant environmental performance support reliable operation in demanding conditions. In addition, RD displays can be adapted with connector and configuration options for specific platform requirements.
The RD Family currently includes RD10D Series and RD15C Series. RD10D provides a compact 10.4” XGA operator display for tactical vehicles and platform systems. Meanwhile, RD15C offers a larger 15.6” Full HD display with high brightness, resistive touch and decentralized installation support for protected vehicle architectures.
Rugged 10.4” operator display for tactical vehicles and defense platforms
The RD10D Series is a rugged 10.4” display for tactical vehicles, operator stations and platform-integrated defense systems. It combines an XGA display, resistive touch input and programmable function keys in a compact enclosure designed for demanding military environments. MIL connectors, camouflage mode, NVIS support and Picture-in-Picture functionality help operators manage mission-critical information in deployed systems. In addition, the aluminium chassis, IP65 protection and MIL-standard environmental performance support reliable operation in harsh field conditions.
