The MxD Family is a modular display platform developed for real-time operation in demanding tactical environments. Built on a shared architecture, the platform can be configured as a dedicated display, a display with removable storage, or a display with a removable computer module. This common foundation enables scalable deployment across different operator roles and vehicle configurations.
An FPGA-based low-latency architecture supports responsive video performance, while multi-touch, programmable bezel buttons and NVIS support enable effective crew interaction. NGVA and VIVOE readiness, together with rugged Ethernet, USB and video interfaces, simplify integration into modern tactical vehicle systems.
The family is available in several standard display sizes and supports applications ranging from driver stations to gunner, commander and crew positions. By separating the display platform from the required storage or computing configuration, MxD provides a flexible path for both current system integration and future platform evolution.

The MID Series is the removable-computer configuration within the MxD Family. It combines the shared MxD display platform with a detachable MCS computer module, providing integrated computing where operator positions require local processing without making the computer a permanent part of the display.
This modular architecture supports easier service, replacement and system upgrades while maintaining the same display concept across the vehicle. MID is suited for operator positions that need both rugged visualization and integrated computing in a compact, platform-ready configuration.
