MilDef celebrated five years as a listed company on Nasdaq Stockholm with a closing bell ceremony, marking an important milestone in the company’s continued growth and development as one of Europe’s leading defence technology companies.
Management, board members and shareholders gathered at Nasdaq to commemorate five years since MilDef’s IPO in 2021. During the event, representatives from Nasdaq reflected together with MilDef on the company’s development as a publicly listed company and its strong growth over the past five years.
Since its listing at SEK 36 per share, MilDef has grown into one of Europe’s fastest-growing defence technology companies, supported by an expanding shareholder base that today includes more than 44,000 shareholders.

A special highlight of the celebration was President & CEO Daniel Ljunggren ringing the closing bell. He also rang the bell at MilDef’s listing ceremony five years ago, then in his role as CFO. Returning to Nasdaq to mark the company’s fifth anniversary as President & CEO made the occasion a fitting symbol of both MilDef’s growth and his own journey with the company.
As part of the anniversary, MilDef was also featured on the Nasdaq Tower in Times Square, New York, marking the occasion on one of the world’s most recognised financial landmarks.
MilDef extends its sincere thanks to Nasdaq for hosting the celebration and to everyone who has been part of the company’s journey as it continues its mission to strengthen defence capabilities through resilient technology.
