Product designs are prepared with consideration given to choice of materials, efficient usage of materials, ease of assembly and deconstruction (for re-cycling potential, in accordance with EU Directive 2006/66/EC on batteries and accumulators and EU Directive 2012/13/EU on waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE)) to ensure that the company’s environmental ethics are followed.
As a producer of WEEE and batteries we strive to comply with EU directives, national legislation and other requirements.
MilDef Sweden is an affiliated member of El-Kretsen i Sverige AB and is undertaking the ordinance regarding electrical and electronic products (SFS 2014:1075, 2014:1078) and batteries (SFS 2008:834). El-Kretsen is the business sectors service company for the collection and recycling of electrical and electronic products and batteries, and guaranties that the collected and treated electrical and electronic products and batteries are recycled correctly according to the ordinance.
Any of our products can be returned to our headquarters in Sweden when obsolete.
